Michael Morabe serves with CRU Military Ministry, engaging people across diverse settings to help fulfill the mission to win, build, and send those God brings into relationship with Him. His work crosses traditional boundaries and emphasizes presence, consistency, and relationship-building.

The ministry engages individuals throughout the San Diego region, collaborating with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including military leadership, service members, veterans, medical professionals, educators, business leaders, and church communities from various denominations—all with a shared concern for the spiritual well-being of service members and their families.

The scope of the ministry reflects both geographic reach and depth of engagement, including:

• Naval installations in the South Bay and Point Loma

• Ministry with Wounded Warriors in transition at Balboa Navy Medical Center

• Discipleship and outreach with Marines at MCAS Miramar

• Engagements at Camp Pendleton, including the School of Infantry, Camp Horno Barracks, and the Brig

Ministry efforts include ongoing communication with base chaplains and military staff, coordination of resources to support teaching and discipleship, and oversight of logistics and volunteers. Leadership at MCRD has contributed to consistent weekly spiritual engagement with recruits and Marines, as well as Bible studies with both Wounded Warriors in transition and active-duty service members.

The ministry continues to grow locally and nationally through CRU and CRU Military connections, supporting continuity of care for service members as they relocate to new duty stations.
